一、我国的四大名园是哪些？
中国的四大名园指的是江苏省苏州市的拙政园，北京市海淀区的颐和园，河北省承德市的避暑山庄，江苏省苏州市的留园，这些中国古典园林被公认为是中国最优秀的园林建筑
拙政园是苏州园林中的经典作品，始建于明正德四年，是苏州现存最大的古典园林，占地面积约为5.2公顷。拙政园有很浓郁的江南水乡特色，而中花园是全部园林的精华所在，西花园的建筑风格最为精美，在1961年的时候就已经被称为全国重点文物保护单位。
说到颐和园一定会很熟悉，颐和园是在清朝时期建造供皇室娱乐歇息的场所。颐和园以昆明湖和万寿山为基底，模仿南方水乡的建筑风格建成的一座大型山水园林，也是保存最完整的一座皇家园林，被誉为“皇家园林博物馆”，也是国家重点旅游景点。
承德避暑山庄又叫做“热河行宫”，是清代皇帝夏天避暑和处理政务的场所。避暑山庄建造时长近90年，总共经历了康熙、雍正、乾隆三位帝王。山庄以朴素淡雅的山村野趣为格调，取自然山水之本色，吸收江南塞北之风光，是中国现存占地最大的古代帝王宫苑。
相对于前几个园林不同的是，留园是私家的园林，占地面积有20000万平方米，建筑风格是清代的风格。全园大致分为中、东、西、北四部分，中部为原留园所在。现园分四部分，东部以建筑为主，中部为山水花园，西部是土石相间的大假山，北部则是田园风光。
这四座园林在上世纪90年代就一定陆续的被联合国列入世界遗产名录，四座园林也都被当地政府开发为了著名的旅游项目，发展旅游资源的同时当然也是为了更好地保护园林。
